Here is about 17-minutes of “LangChat,” featuring me talking about my work next to a trickling brook in Shindagin Hollow, one of my favorite natural areas. I recorded this today. There was over a foot of snow on the ground, though temperatures were in the mid-40s.

In this chat, I discuss my plans for the coming year (2017), and especially the BIG TRIP I’m hoping to pull off, during which I’ll be podcasting my experiences. This chat is yet another test of my voice and my ability to speak coherently without rehearsal, without a script. I’m quite pleased and gradually gaining confidence in my ability to create a really fantastic podcast that is quite relaxed, fully present, un-rehearsed and intimate … and that faithfully conveys my experiences in the field.
